Wine of the Week…The National Gallery Santa Rita

The National Gallery Santa Rita

The National Gallery Santa Rita Cabernet Sauvignon

This week’s Wine of the Week is the beautiful art-inspired limited edition Santa Rita Cabernet Sauvignon.  Vina Santa Rita partnered with the National Gallery in a 3 year deal to launch a new range of limited edition wines featuring some of The National Gallery’s famous artworks.  This Cabernet Sauvignon features Van Gogh’s ‘Sunflowers’ which would look great on any dinner table.
Established in 1880, Santa Rita is one of Chile’s oldest and most prominent wine producers, based in the Alto Jahuel area of the Maipo Valley.
The Cabernet Sauvignon has an expressive ruby red colour, with aromas of ripe, black fruit and vanilla, tabacco and cloves.  This is a medium bodied, balanced and persistent wine.
This wine will pair beautifully with pork, red meats, pasta and cheeses.  If you’re eating something different, we have a wide selection of wines available at a range of prices to suit all budgets, and our off-sales team are always happy to advise you on the right choice to match a particular dish.
