School’s Out! in Style with Mulkerns SPAR & EUROSPAR
Mulkerns Lockdown Leavers Cloughogue PS
Mulkerns EUROSPAR and Mulkerns SPAR Jonesborough recently presented Leavers T-Shirts and Hoodies to 5 local Primary Schools. Mulkerns visited each of the schools on Leaver’s Day, calling to Dromintee PS, Jonesborough PS, Killeen PS, St Joseph’s PS Meigh and St Moninna’s PS Cloughogue to present all the P7s in the local community with something to remember the class of 2021.
Kelly McKeown General Manager Commented “It’s been such an unsettled year for the children and especially for the classes who are moving on. We wanted to help ensure the P7s had happy memories of their last year in Primary School. Best of luck to all the Primary 7’s from the Team at Mulkerns!”
Mulkerns run an annual programme of support for local Primary Schools working closely with the school principals to determine where support should best be directed. Over the past year campaigns for schools have included Cash For Schools, Ready Steady Grow and Lockdown Leavers.
Mulkerns received awards in 2020 for Best Community Engagement (Forecourt Trader Awards UK), Independent Community Retailer of the Year (Retail Industry Awards UK) and Excellence in Community Engagement (Maxol Ireland). Mulkerns were recently selected as a Finalist in the 2021 Convenience Awards UK for Community Retailer of the Year.
