Mulkerns SPAR & EUROSPAR Launch St Vincent de Paul Christmas Voucher Appeal

Recognising the difficulties being faced by many families this Christmas, Mulkerns EUROSPAR & Mulkerns SPAR Jonesborough recently launched their Christmas Voucher Appeal working with local St Vincent de Paul charity, supporting the charity with an appeal for gift vouchers for local families in need.

Mulkerns are encouraging staff and customers to get behind this campaign to help “Make Christmas Happen for Everyone”.  Unfortunately, local St Vincent de Paul are currently unable to accept physical products, however they are appealing to people to donate gift vouchers to families in need instead.  In particular, they are asking for Toy Vouchers, Oil Vouchers, Clothing Vouchers and Grocery Vouchers.  Together lets build a Virtual Toy Mountain!  Vouchers can be donated in the dedicated “Christmas Voucher Appeal” donation boxes located in the foyer under the Christmas Tree at Mulkerns EUROSPAR & Mulkerns SPAR Jonesborough.

Speaking at the launch of the Christmas Voucher Appeal, Terry Mulkerns, Mulkerns Eurospar commented… “We recognise that this will be a difficult Christmas for many families who have been affected by the ongoing Covid Crisis.  Not everyone will be in a position to put food on the table or buy presents for their children this Christmas, so we urge people to get involved and do what they can to help those in need”.
