Jonesborough Charity Cycle 2014

Jonesborough Charity Cycle, now in its 6th year, has again exceeded all expectations raising over £40,000 for local Children’s Charities – that’s £160,000 to date!  Mulkerns Eurospar is proud to be have been associated with this event from the outset and this year we were the main sponsors for the 5th year running.

The primary goal of the Jonesborough Charity Cycle is to raise money for local children’s charities and each year 5 main charities are chosen and championed by the committee. This year Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children, Meningitis Now, Newry and District Gateway Club, Helping Hand (Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children) and Carrickore Children’s Residential Unit all received £5000. A group of 15 other local charities received a total of £15,000 between them.
